Diamond Dinner
The Ladies Diamond Dinner is an exciting and fun evening for the ladies.
The evening features a sit down, 3 course dinner served by the local gentlemen, a fashion show, silent auction, raffle prizes and all of this leads up to the reveal of who wins the grand prize – a beautiful diamond ring.
The event happens in February and the tickets go on sale in January. Funds raised support the quality programming the club offers to the children and youth of Riverview.
Garage Night
Not to be left out, this is a fun evening for the men that also features a sit down, 3 course dinner served by local women, live and silent auctions, raffles and features a live artist.
This event happens in October with tickets going on sale late summer. Funds raised also support the quality programming the club offers to the children and youth of Riverview.
Golf Tournament
The annual “Birdies and Bogies for bgc Riverview” Golf Tournament takes place in July. Stay tuned for details of the 2020 tournament.
Tree Lot
The tree lot is a long standing fundraising event for the club and has always been successful.
People from Riverview, Moncton, Dieppe, Hillsborough, Petitcodiac, Cap Pele and many other areas come to the lot to buy their tree or wreath for this festive season. It is also the favourite event for volunteers. Many organizations call to offer their time to help sell and to raise the funds that the club needs each year.
Running the first three weeks of December, the tree lot will sell in excess of 800 trees and 200 wreaths each year and see many happy faces carrying their tree to their cars.
Enviro Kids
Our Enviro Kids promote recycling your bottles, cans and glass through our recycling depot behind Riverview Tire on Coverdale Road. Stay tuned as we add a second depot located at 711 Coverdale Road this Spring.
Our goal is to educate our youth on the importance of recycling and protecting our environment while at the same time raising funds to support youth activities within our afterschool and drop-in programs.
